CLL were proud to be apart of the piling works for the Elizabeth St Farmers project in Tauranga on behalf of Hawkins. This development was the biggest project to date in Tauranga and in New Zealand's largest piling project in terms of numbers of poles and lm constructed.
Facts about the project:
- All piles are CFA secant wall piles
- Pile depths varies from 9.5 – 25.5m
- All piles are 750mm in diameter
- Ground conditions: soft sand / very soft (liquid) sand
- CLL participated on the design with both Holmes and T+T
- Estimated total concrete volume = 36.000m3 = 9000 concrete trucks

- CLL is using GNSS Sokkia GCX2 and Sokkia SHC5000 field computer tool for the land surveying with 5mm accuracy
