CLL was contracted to complete all foundation works for a six level apartment block, compromising of 59 apartments with two levels of basement car parking. CLL completed the bulk excavation from existing level to basement level. Foundation works involved completing 165 piles between 6m & 17m deep ranging in diameter from 600dia to 800dia. The first stage of these works were the perimeter piles and the second stage compiled of the use of CLL’s DTH Hammer, which made works achievable due to having the ability to drill through solid rock (basalt) at 5m per hour.
