Work comprised of the following:

Slip M8

Temporary works consisting of 106 no. 750mm-dia piles 8m long with every second one reinforced and 0.75m x 0.75m capping beam. Permanent works included 49 no. 750Ø piles 21m long with a 1.5m rock socket (Greywacke) and capping beam 70m long x 1.0m wide x 1.8m deep with ground anchors comprising 7 no x 15.2mm strands 8.5m bond and 12.5m free length in a 250mm drill hole.

Slip M8 Retreat Wall

The supply and installation of 44 no. 15m long galvanised 310UC137 steel sections with precast concrete panels for a retained face height of 4m.

Installation of temporary works to construct 20 no. 1050 Ø piles ranging between 24m and 30m long and capping beam 40m long x 1.4m wide x 1.4m deep
