The job required the installation of 1970 RAPs at a depth of 8 meters with a diameter of 600mm. To achieve this, a combination of specialized tools including the LRB23, RG21, a 25-ton digger, tele handler, and probes specifically designed for RAPs were utilized. The methodology developed by CLL for geopier technology proved to be straightforward, effectively minimizing any encountered issues or problems. One notable aspect that contributed to the project’s success was the ample working area available, which facilitated the efficient installation of the RAPs. This project marks the conclusion of CLL’s involvement on this particular site, representing their final undertaking in this location.
The project involved ground improvement using Rammed Aggregate Piers (RAPs) and load tests for the construction of warehousing facilities catering to farmers.
