Pullman Hotel Auckland Airport is located north of International Terminal and immediately west if the existing Novotel Hotel Auckland International Airport. The actual ground conditions are conformed by asphalt- paved area used for car parking outside the Auckland International Terminal.
The area approximately of the site is 100m long (north-south) and 80m wide (east-west) and has a typical elevation of between RL 6m to 7m, following Geotechnical report done by T&T
CLL Services and Solutions were engaged for the piling works which compromised of
- 45 Piles, Diameter 900mm, Reinforced concrete piles, Average length: 38.68m
- 27 Piles, Diameter 750mm, Reinforced concrete piles, Average length: 38.63m
- 11 Piles, Diameter 600mm, Reinforced concrete piles, Average length of 36.57m
- 4 Piles, 750dia RC Crane base pile.
This site included construction of Bore Pile, using permanent non-structural casings, reinforced concrete and bentonite mixture to stabilise the ground for the conditions of the soil following Geotechnical report and Structural specifications
